NFL 2009-2010 Division Winners

Joe’s Free Picks & Futures Odds For This Season’s AFC & NFC Winners

The 2009/2010 football season is upon us. And it’s about damn time. It’s been like a year since we started the last football season … WTF?

Anyway, this is Joe’s favorite time of the year. Between NFL and NCAA games, he ain’t gotta get off the couch for the whole weekend, except to pee. And this year he’s gonna try out them Depends. If they work as advertised, he won’t have to move his ass until the final whistle on Monday Night Football (note to self: Get the extra large, high capacity Depends).

So, we were digging through the NFL schedule … seeing who we like this year. Thinking about playing a few little futures bets at Bookmaker or BetJamaica. And just getting in the spirit of the whole thing again.

Now, there’s a good reason Joe don’t sell picks … Joe sucks worse than an Amish virgin when it comes to handicapping the NFL. Nonetheless, and after that little disclaimer, here’s how Joe sees the season going down:

(Note: At the very early date of this writing, the futures odds shown below will most certainly have moved by the time you’re reading this article)

AFC East

Everyone’s gonna be all over New England this year (again) and Joe ain’t gonna be any different. Patriots should win their division running away.

Futures odds on New England to win the AFC East …
Bookmaker: -1000
BetJamaica: -450

AFC West

San Diego is the odds on favorite to win the AFC West this year. But Joe’s ol’ lady is a big Broncos fan so Miss Bobbit is insisting he take Denver over the Chargers. Sorry, Joe’s hands are tied on this one.

Futures odds on Denver to win the AFC West …
Bookmaker: +755
BetJamaica: +600

AFC South

The AFC South looks to be the more competitive division in the AFC. Joe Public prolly likes the Colts or the Titans, but Joe Casino is putting his money on … drum roll please … the Houston Freakin’ Texans!

Futures odds on Houston to win the AFC South …
Bookmaker: +380
BetJamaica: +275

AFC North

Wrapping up the AFC, it’s gonna be all about the Steelers. Don’t even think about anyone else here, Pittsburgh by 3 lengths.

Futures odds on Pittsburgh to win the AFC North …
Bookmaker: -300
BetJamaica: -350

NFC East

Could be a tight little division race, most likely coming down to the wire between the Eagles and the Giants. Joe’s torn on this one. So, he’s gonna go nuts and pick the Redskins.

Futures odds on Washington to win the NFC East …
Bookmaker: +580
BetJamaica: +400

NFC West

Hmmm … Seahawks? Nah. … Rams? LMAO. … 49-ers? Maybe. … Cardinals? Yep.

Futures odds on Arizona to win the NFC West …
Bookmaker: -105
BetJamaica: +185

NFC South

The NFC South could be competitive this year. The Falcons and Panthers both have a decent crack at it. Forget Tampa Bay. But, Joe thinks that somehow the Saints will find some defense and pull it together this season.

Futures odds on New Orleans to win the NFC South …
Bookmaker: +165
BetJamaica: +175

NFC North

In the NFC North, the most interesting bet might be whether or not Detroit wins a game. The line on that is sitting at under 4.5 (EV) at Bookmaker. Smells like a lock. Otherwise, between the 3 real football teams in that division, Joe thinks he likes Da’ Bears.

Futures odds on Chicago to win the NFC North …
Bookmaker: +165
BetJamaica: +165

So, that’s the “official” Joe Casino early look at division play for the 2009-2020 NFL season. Please, for God’s sake, whatever you do, DON’T BET THESE PICKS. Joe’s certain that they’re winners but he don’t want any of you to mush his plays. And, the lawyer said to say that these picks are for entertainment only. No joke Sheitstein! Gambling IS entertainment.
